Free PDF
You may now have Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 installed on your computer.  These packages provide the ability to create a PDF file.

If you have an older version of Office or simply want to create a PDF in a non-Microsoft program, you can use the free PrimoPDF.

In the old days, you used to need a copy of the full version of Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation, but now this tool is free.  Just download and install PrimoPDF, and you will be able to create a PDF from any program that is capable of printing a document.  Simple pull up the print command and choose PrimoPDF as the printer.  Instead of physically printing something, you will be prompted to save a file instead.  After choosing a name, and clicking OK, your PDF will be made.

Check out Wikipedia for more information on PDF if you are new to this file format.

Enter “Double Driver”.  This free utility will make a copy of all of the drivers your system currently uses and save them to disk. You’ll have all of the drivers your system will need in a single location once the Windows install is complete.  Don’t forget to collect your drivers before wiping your machine!

Add the Menu Bar back into Office '07, '10
Why did Microsoft take away the menu bar?  They could have left it in, but they didn't.

Ubit to the rescue!  They have a solution that is free for personal use.  Just close all of your open Office apps., then download and install the UBitMenu application.  Once you re-launch your apps, then menu bar will be available via new tab called "Menu".  How cool is that?

If you're using it in a work environment, then you need to pay the license fee which is very reasonable.
